Thinkers & Makers serves as the uniter of creatives and ideas, clients and agencies. Therefore, it was important for the primary symbol to represent this spirit of collaboration. The core of T&M is the idea of “and”. Embracing the ampersand was the perfect way to express the essence of their brand. As a secondary element we crafted an array of venn diagrams showing the many ways T&M embraces collaboration, and the custom nature of each creative team and project they approach.
When setting out to build the logo, it was important to embody T&M’s unique collaborative approach to creative. The ampersand itself was created through collaboration with type designer Jessica Hische. Together, we worked to design the mark that now represents Thinkers & Makers.
